City Council, working with a committee of local citizens, is working to start the process of improving internet access and speed within Liberty. This has been a high priority for us and we are eager to get this process started.
For the city to get grants and other possible funding, we need any citizen willing to complete the “I Need Internet Survey” at the bottom of the webpage linked below. By completing the survey, the SC Broadband Office can also track the actual internet speed available within the city, which is key to demonstrating a need for improved access and receiving funding to help run fiber optic cable within the city.
We need as many citizens as possible to complete this survey by April 15th to be able to apply for potential grants this spring.
