Our town was founded on March 2, 1876, and we are celebrating 150 years. This is a huge milestone for our community, and we are so excited to be spending 2026 honoring everything that makes Liberty such a special place to live. Here is to 150 years of Liberty and another 150 to come!

The countdown is on for SC Waffle Fest, happening Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10 AM–5 PM in Downtown Liberty.
Spend the day enjoying food and craft vendors, waffles in all forms, a free kids' zone, and live music throughout the day featuring Luke Deuce Trio, The Wilder Flower Music, and Blues Deluxe Band. It’s a full day of fun for all ages, whether you’re coming to eat, listen to great music, or just enjoy being downtown. Guest can enjoy balloon animals and up-close magic all day long.
THE WILDER FLOWER: 10:00-11:00 AM | Main Stage (by the flagpoles)
LUKE DEUCE TRIO: 11:30 AM-1:30 PM | Courtyard Stage
BLUES DELUXE BAND: 2:00-5:00 PM | Main Stage (by the flagpoles)
Be sure to catch fan-favorite moments like the Waffle Eating Contest from 12:30–1:00 PM and make time to explore everything our vendors have to offer. This event is family-friendly and free to attend.
Mark your calendar, invite your friends, and start getting excited. We’ll see you downtown on March 21!

Our brand-new Liberty Dugout Park sign is officially up!
A big THANK YOU to King Asphalt for sponsoring this project and to local artist and Liberty business owner Duncan Burns, Jr. for designing it. This sign wouldn’t be possible without both of you. Your support and talent came together to create something our community can truly be proud of.
We were also honored to have Mayor Wagner and Councilman William “Bo” Cooley in attendance as we celebrated this great addition to the park.
If you’re out and about, stop by Liberty Dugout Park and take a look for yourself. It’s even better in person. ❤️
