Liberty Rec Coach of the Week
It's time for our Athlete of the Week!

Polly Hall is our Female Athlete of the Week from 8U Cheer. Polly was nominated by her coach, Blair Bearden. Coach Bearden says Polly is not only a hard worker... but Polly had oral surgery last week and still attended her game to cheer the very next day. Talk about team spirit! Coach Blair and Coach Jen say they appreciate Polly's commitment to their team!

Our Female Athlete of the Week is sponsored by Ivey's Furniture. We are proud to sponsor with Ivey's Furniture, a family owned business offering furniture and mattresses and voted best in the county! You can shop their store at Market at the Mill or online at shopiveys.com.

We would like to take a second to give a BIG shout out to our community sponsor, Potter's Clay Fellowship! Potter's Clay donated these brand new picnic tables to our baseball complex and we are so thankful! PCF is doing great things in our community. They meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30 at the PAC center next to the rec.

Thank you Potter's Clay for the donation! We hope many families enjoy time spent together around these tables at the fields!

2025 Super Saturday - Liberty Parks & Rec
This week, coaches with the Liberty Rec will begin rolling out a new program called "Champions of Character." This program was created by the Liberty Rec, for the Liberty Rec -- aiming not just to create good athletes, but even better people.

Lessons are 5-10 minutes long and coaches will address traits like integrity, respect and perseverance. Each coach will be provided a packet which also includes talking points and optional devotionals for parents and guardians to also engage in the lessons with their athletes at home.

The Liberty Rec is working to create healthier families, not only physically but holistically!
