To celebrate the City of Liberty’s 150th birthday, the City of Liberty invites community members of all ages and skill levels to participate in a special art exhibition titled “What Does Liberty Mean to You?”
This non-juried, non-competitive community exhibition encourages participants to share their personal interpretation of what Liberty, South Carolina means to them through art. Submissions may include any original, family-friendly artwork that can be safely displayed in a public setting. There is no entry fee, and participation is open to everyone, from students and hobbyists to professional artists. All mediums are welcomed.

The City’s official birthday party on March 7, 2026, will be the first opportunity for the community to view the full exhibition together, showcasing all submitted pieces as part of this milestone celebration.
All artwork will remain on display at the Rosewood Center through the end of 2026 as part of Liberty’s yearlong 150th Anniversary Celebration.
