Sue Woods is the
City Clerk and Business License Official for the City of Liberty.
She was employed in 2005.
Sue serves as Clerk to City Council. As such, she records the
proceedings of the legislative body and attest to
and affix the Town Seal on all official
documents. The main function of the City
Clerk is to attest to all laws enacted by the city council and keeping
all transcripts. The Clerk keeps the records of the City such as
executive and administrative orders. As business license official,
Sue is responsible for the licensing of all
businesses in the city limits. She is responsible for all of the
City's Hospitality taxes. Sue also serves as the editor of the
City's newsletter "The Liberty Focus".

Josie Amspacher is the City Treasurer for the City of Liberty. She
was employed in 2001. Josie's goal is to provide leading practiced
financial management services and leadership to achieve the City of
Liberty's goals and objectives. Josie promotes actions to achieve
the City's priorities, provides excellent service to internal and
external customers, establishes and maintains sound fiscal policies,
delivers a clear and accurate picture of the City's current and future
financial position, improves the effectiveness, efficiency, and
integration of the City's business process and proactively reports on,
analyzes and recommends actions for improvements. Josie manages
and accounts for Liberty's financial resources.
